Danielle Collins

Psychologist (she/her)

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without the pressure to be anything except yourself in that moment. That's why I create a relaxed, mask-free room where you’re free to explore, laugh, cry,  sit a moment in silence, and make whatever level of eye contact you are comfortable with—whatever you need.

My areas of passion include:

  • Grief, trauma, and adjustment
  • Neurodiversity, including later-life diagnoses and self-discovery
  • Cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments
  • Disordered eating and body image
  • Family dynamics, parenting, and relationships
  • LGBTQI+, identities and relationship structures including non-monogamy and polyamory
  • Anxiety, depression, OCD, self-harm, and suicidal ideation

I use a blend of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy, all within a trauma-informed, person-centered framework.

I’m a big believer in the power of humour—sometimes a meme or a joke is exactly what we need to process complex feelings. I bring my lived experience as a neurodivergent individual to my work, ensuring that my approach is both informed and affirming. My goal is to make sure you feel seen and understood while empowering you to navigate your own path to thriving.”

Danielle works Thursdays and Saturdays and sees ages 12 and up.
