Grace Newland

Psychologist (she/her)

I have a warm, person-centred approach and aim to create a safe and empowering space in therapy. I have experience across both private and public sectors and enjoy working with adults as well as adolescents and their families.

I have a special interest in supporting people who are struggling with:

  • Complex trauma
  • Personality vulnerabilities such as BPD
  • Eating disorders
  • Self-harm and suicidality
  • OCD
  • Substance use concerns
  • Mood and anxiety disorders

I flexibly draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to suit the individual, and my approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQAI+ friendly, and neuroaffirming. These modalities include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

I also offer specialised eating disorder treatments including Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM), DBT for Eating Disorders (DBT-ED), and Adolescent Focused Therapy (AFT).

Grace works on Mondays and Thursdays and sees ages 14 and above.
