Marie Robertson

Clinical Psychologist

My therapeutic approach is gentle, considerate and strongly neuroaffirming, LGBTQAI+ friendly and trauma-informed. I have over 13 years of clinical experience and am passionate about working with individuals that have experienced:

  • Eating disorders and body image difficulties
  • Complex trauma
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Personality vulnerabilities including Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Treatment-resistant anxiety and depression
  • Emotional difficulties relating to fertility problems

I use an integrative approach to adapt to an individual’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Specialist Supportive Clinical Management for eating disorders (SSCM), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), am a credentialed eating disorder clinician with the Australian New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED), and am a board-approved supervisor.

Marie sees ages 18 and up and works Fridays.
