Michelle Scott

Director and Psychologist (she/her)

I am a registered psychologist with over 16 years clinical experience, predominantly working with eating disorder clients.  I use neuroaffirming, trauma informed, and LGBTQAI+ inclusive techniques.

I have worked in a private hospital setting facilitating both individual and group therapy to inpatients and out patients from adolescents to adults.

I'm experienced with a range of concerns such as self esteem, self harm, suicidality, complex trauma, OCD, OCPD, depression, and anxiety. The focus of therapy is to create a warm, flexible and empathic environment whilst drawing on a range of therapies.

These therapies include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Focal Psychodynamic Therapy for eating disorders, Schema therapy, Specialist Support Clinical Management for eating disorders, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and am a credentialed eating disorder clinician with the Australian New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED).

Michelle sees ages 14 and up, and works Tuesdays face-to-face, and on other days by appointment for telehealth sessions.
