Rebecca Evans

Registered Psychologist (she/her)

I offer a friendly, collaborative, relaxed approach to therapy that is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming and LGBTQAI+ friendly. I believe strongly in the power of connection and a good therapeutic relationship. My aim is for people to leave sessions feeling like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders, that another person “gets it.”

I enjoy working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals that have experienced trauma, complex PTSD, disordered eating and body image concerns, attachment difficulties, personality vulnerabilities, depression and anxiety.

I aim to tailor therapeutic style to the individual and will primarily draw from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). I have experience in community public mental health settings, private practice settings, and acute inpatient care, and am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Rebecca sees ages 14 and up and works Thursdays and Fridays.
